A fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, Stephanie has over 20 years of insurance industry experience.
Stephanie has performed actuarial consulting services for many types of property/casualty insurance companies, including serving as an appointed actuary to set and evaluate property/casualty reserves. She has also overseen the ratemaking and pricing process for various types of property/casualty products.
Stephanie’s consulting engagements for state Departments of Insurance have included actuarial valuations of gross and net loss and loss adjustment expense reserves, as well as review and evaluation of company reserve methodology. In addition, Stephanie has reviewed the actuarial opinions and reports of national actuarial firms and provided comments regarding the adequacy of the opinions, reports and underlying actuarial analyses. She has worked closely with Examiners-in-Charge on insurance department examinations to make sure that the actuarial work performed is properly coordinated with the rest of the examination fieldwork.
Stephanie previously served as Actuary at Safe Auto Insurance Group with responsibility for setting and evaluating reserves and pricing for non-standard auto insurance products. She also engaged in a general casualty actuarial practice at Milliman, Inc. and provided casualty actuarial pricing and ratemaking management and support at GRE Insurance Group and Great American Insurance Companies. |
